ピキ日記 (PikiDiary) Privacy Policy [English]
▸▸ Last updated: June 27, 2026Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ピキ日記 ("PikiDiary," "we," "us," or the "Service") collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the Service.
PikiDiary is operated by an individual, not a corporate entity. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
We collect account information such as your username, E-Mail address, and password.
We collect content and information you choose to submit, including posts, comments, profile information, relationships, reactions, drawings, translations, streams, uploaded images, audio, video, avatars, banners, backgrounds, and custom emotes.
If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and the contact information you use.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
We collect technical and activity information needed to operate and secure the Service, including IP address, browser and device information, user agent, session identifiers, login and activity timestamps, pages or features used, and security or rate-limit events. We may infer an approximate city, region, or country from an IP address for session-security displays; we do not collect precise GPS location.
We keep a compact record when another user's post is at least half visible so Explore can avoid immediately showing it again. A quick impression affects only novelty and does not teach our topic-interest model. For accounts at least seven days old, we may use likes, comments, and a single qualified view of another user's post to personalize topic recommendations. A qualified view means at least 15 seconds with at least half the post visible; measured time is capped at five minutes. We do not use interactions with your own posts, short views, repeated views of the same post, or interactions with IQ's posts to train that model.
If you enable browser push notifications, we store a push endpoint, encryption keys, and device type so notifications can be delivered.
1.3 Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription, Stripe processes your payment details. PikiDiary stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and tier. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and personalize the Service; create and secure accounts; publish content according to your settings; process subscriptions; send verification, recovery, service, and push messages; operate live and interactive features; prevent spam, fraud, abuse, disposable-address signups, and security incidents; moderate content and enforce our Terms; diagnose and improve the Service; comply with law; and protect users, the public, and our rights.
3. How We Disclose Information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Service providers: Providers that support hosting, databases, media storage and delivery, live streaming, E-Mail delivery, analytics, bot prevention, signup reputation checks, recommendation processing, payment processing, and web push. These currently include Cloudflare, Google, Hugging Face, Qdrant, SMTP2GO, Stop Forum Spam, and Stripe.
- Other users and the public: When you publish content or profile information, subject to the audience and privacy controls available in the Service.
- Legal and safety reasons: When we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or needed to investigate abuse, protect safety, enforce our Terms, or defend legal rights.
Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their processing may occur in countries other than your own.
4. Public Content and Privacy Settings
PikiDiary is an SNS. Content you make public may be viewed, copied, saved, or shared by other people despite our rules against unauthorized scraping and archival. Do not publish information you want to keep confidential.
Profile privacy and audience settings can limit some visibility, but no access control or deletion process can guarantee that another person has not already retained a copy.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account information and user content while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. New accounts that do not publish a post within seven days may be deleted. New accounts that continue using a temporary E-Mail address may also be deleted after seven days. Other unverified accounts without profiles are generally deleted after 30 days. Authentication sessions expire or are revoked according to their configured lifetime.
Personalization jobs are deleted immediately after processing or after their retry limit. Temporary view timestamps are deleted after the view closes or within one day if abandoned. The small record used to prevent a repeated qualified view from being counted is deleted when the post is deleted or after the post is 35 days old. Explore impression history is deleted when the account or post is deleted, or after 90 days without another impression. Seeded feed snapshots expire after six hours.
When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated information from active systems where reasonably possible. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, provider systems, security records, legal records, or content retained by other users. We may retain information as necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and protect the Service.
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may update certain account and profile information in Settings, adjust available profile and audience controls, revoke active sessions, disable push notifications, and change your analytics choice.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required or permitted by law.
Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. PikiDiary does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including hashed passwords, secure authentication cookies, access controls, request validation, and abuse prevention. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
PikiDiary is not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when appropriate.
