I will never forget the evening I landed upon a video of a woman smashing a toy car with platform boots and looking upon suggested related content, there was more stuff stomped by her wearing different kind of shoes.
I didn't thought it was a fetish I honestly believed it was someone coping with their trauma by stomping on toy cars but then I looked at the comments and I slowly realized what it was...

Paprika [reading Avengers Vol.3 #1] : Oh this is Surtr's sword !
Matcha: Yes, and ?
Paprika: It was last seen in Thor (1966) #425 and it was buried in the Sea of Eternal Night, the issue was published in 1990, eight years before this issue of Avengers !
Matcha : HOW THE FUCK DO YOU REMEMBER SHIT LIKE THIS, JUST HOW ???
Paprika: Also in this issue George Perez, the artists, initially gave the wrong costume to Ms Marvel/Carol Danvers but it was corrected by the editor, Tom Brevoort before being sent to print

so IDW had more than half of all TMNT issues ever published under their supervision. For this special issue there was a LOT of variant covers and blind bag variants.
TMNT has a special place in my heart so getting Eastman and Laird's 2026 art made specifically for this cover as a Retailer Incentive Variant is absolutely perfect.
OG tmnt was printed in black and white, so having this cover is truly a special gift for my collection since I collected all Eastman Covers since they rebooted.

For non-comic-book readers, it's not TMNT #300 but TMNT #20. Perhaps some of you know but TMNT started in 1984, created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It went on and off over time, a bit at Mirage (original self-publushing studio of Laird & Eastman) then a bit at Image and since 2010/2011 it started at Issue 1 again with a new continuity with IDW Publishing.
IDW published 150 issues and then started again to issue 1, keeping the same universe & continuity

the reason "occultae" background picture/wallpaper looks so bland is that I'm really afraid using a wallpaper from internet, there's so much AI shit out there, I'm afraid of getting bamboozled.
I don't have enough books and stuff to make a wallpaper by myself like I did for the LDVELH part so it's stuck for the moment. I'm trying to look for a anime/drawing style of bookshelves, pixel art would be perfect.
I'm tempted to comission something as well but I need to save a bit of money fot this yes

"babioles" is next so, TECHNICALLY, the website is 90% done for migrating completely. I will probably spend the second half of 2026 and early 2027 polishing it so the last part is finally released for the 4th anniversary of the website and it will be focused only or publishing stuff and I'll stop making touch-ups and rewriting all my CSS everytime.
It's the final straight line, I'm really focused !
