@littlemilitia i was in the same boat for a while. when i finally got on T i had a rly rough time with it bc it took its sweet time with me & i couldn't pass reliably for like 4 years. i told my psychologist that i didn't know what to do & that i was wondering if it would just be easier to (try to) live as a cis woman & give up on transition. his answer was something along the lines of "it would be easier for everyone but you, because you wouldn't be happy with yourself living that way". honestly he was right. it might sound easier, but think of how difficult it would be for you - you'd basically be living as someone you're not. yes, a lot of things are harder when you're trans, i won't deny that, but the mental toll of basically closeting yourself again isn't worth it.

sonarchy@sonarchy i still feel that maroon 5 peaked at their first album... i kinda wish they'd stuck with a similar sound for more than just the one album. their second album was decent but after that they fell off IMO

@kmart honestly that's the best advice to give to someone who tried therapy & claims it didn't work (i say this as someone who was in that boat till i found my current psychologist). sometimes you literally just don't vibe with your therapist or whatever methods they use don't work for you. it doesn't mean you're impossible to help, nor does it necessarily mean the therapist is bad at their job. also, you have to want to be there. if you're not doing your part then you can't expect things to work out... the therapist can't do all the work for you.
