on a more serious note i feel like people who do content on videos of people dying aren't going to be very empathetic even if it's an ongoing genocide. that's like the least amount of respect you could have towards victims of that sort of thing. honestly, i really would wish creators like that would really just avoid the subject altogether. not because it "makes me uncomfortable" or something like that, but also because often times it's used to embarrass and humiliate people.
