@versailles yeah, that's what I ended up doing. it actually got me interested on testing other ffmpeg commands. thank goodness I don't need to use a video editor just to get a really short clip of a video lol

I just went to a supposedly youtube video cutter/clip downloader that, when you put the link and click download, redirects to a tutorial on how to actually download videos using yt-dlp and ffmpeg
